If somebody post an ad on here, chances are they are doing it to be helpful as much for any other reason. We all love this Hobby, don't we? And we all have things that we're looking for or things that we would like to share with others who have common interests. Reading a post carefully and digesting the text of said post before responding is always a good idea. After all, responding to postings without understanding what the posting said wastes everybody's time. Responding to a wanted ad with an extremely high price for a common part is opportunistic and insulting, don't you think? When trying to help somebody get the parts they need for their project, and provide needed advice, nobody is trying to insult anybody else if a correction needs to be made. After all, we're all in this together, aren't we? If a Forum member posts a rare photo of an obscure car and somebody on here who is making and selling decals uses that photo to make a set of decals, and then wants to charge the person who posted the picture for said decals, can you blame that person for not wanting to post any more pictures? And most of all, nobody wants to hear about being drunk and having guns while simply trying to sell off some unneeded parts or decals. Or be called at 5 a.m by the same person. I know it says post at your own risk, but that should only relate to transactions. Thank you.
