Was the 76 Cougar actually just a reconfigured 76 Montego,or an all-new car for 1978? Why did the Wood Brothers not use a new 78 Cougar body style?

Junior Johnson used the Kustom brand 180 degree headers exclusively from sometime in 1976 until the end of the 1983 season.1984 and later used the regular headers.

The more I read about these Salvino's kits,the more I am willing to pack up all of my unbuilt kits and take them to Goodwill and let somebody else have them.

It might be Terry Link. He drove a #66 Pontiac with the same number style in 1975.
