The 1987 kit is on the old style chassis while the 88-92 kit is on the updated chassis. The Sunoco car never ran on the older body.

There are two different sets that Mike did of that decal sheet. The first is the bright orange which is incorrect. The second was the actual poppy red which is correct. |

It is Persimmon. It is a bit more orange than Poppy Red which as Tom pointed out wasn't available until the 1964 Mustang. As for the blue, I can't remember off hand what it was. |
