I took this photo last week.

It is absolutely 100% red. The only orange is the spoiler, air dam and roof numbers.

It is the exact same red as the Coca Cola car.

There is NO ORANGE in the body at all.

I forgot about them. There are at least two cars that were only made in those kit forms, not any other way. I found one on eBay in 2021 that I needed but had no idea it existed.

I left one body in the 91% alcohol for two weeks and it was not brittle at all. In fact I even dropped it into a bare tile floor with no ill affects.

I had 91% alcohol remove TS 14 in a couple of days. I bought a cheap toothbrush to scrub the parts at the local dollar store. It helps...but actually rubbing it with my finger in a rubber glove helped ...

It most likely means that the surface was not smooth enough for the decals to adhere to. If there is any orange peel at all they are not going to want to stick down.

Sad news. At the NNL East just a few months ago two people asked me if I had heard from him recently. He may have left the message board behind but people still cared about him.
